MASSAPEDIA NEWS - Heating a take-away food (take away / take-out) looks like it is a good idea to be able to eat it in case of steaming. Though there is the high price that must be paid.

As reported by The Independent, about one million people in the UK suffer from poisoning every year. Though there are simple steps heats food safely.

Michael Mosley of the television program Trust Me I'm a Doctor using thermal cameras to analyze whether the take-away food is safe or not:

Mosley explained, how to heat food up to 82 degrees Celsius to ensure that harmful bacteria are dead.

The theory is easier than practice. Food was though from the outside looks steaming, turns in it remains cold so that the bacteria remain alive. For this reason the importance stir the food so that all parts are heated evenly.

Take-away food is home to nasty bacteria called Bacillus cereus. Each time the food was cold, we give it a chance of harmful bacteria to multiply, making it more difficult to shut down all though the food put into the oven or microwave.

This condition is especially true for one of the favorite foods to be wrapped, namely rice, which became a live bacterium Bacillus cereus.

When left in the food, bacteria produce toxins that trigger diarrhea and vomiting. Unfortunately, this poison "heat stable", which means even if the rice is heated up to the point of turning off all the bacteria, poison remains, and the effects can be felt immediately.

If you want to keep food that is not discharged, immediately cool the rice, before the bacteria begin to secrete poison, and put in the refrigerator one hour of distance when cooked. If not, then "you are playing Russian roulette with your stomach," said Mosley.
