Japan Trials the Application of Payment by Fingerprint
MASSAPEDIA NEWS - Middle of this year, the Japanese government will begin testing a system that allows foreign tourists to verify their identity and purchase goods and services simply by using fingerprints.

This is done to prevent crime and alleviate the stress of the tourists ahead of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games to be held in 2020, in Tokyo. Because the system is expected to eliminate the need to carry cash or credit cards for tourists.

To perform the experiment the system, the government put a fingerprint scanner 300 are scattered in various tourist centers, such as souvenir shops, restaurants, hotels, and others.
