WHO: Environmental Conditions Can Kill Humans

MASSAPEDIA NEWS - Conditions inhaled air, drinking water and the environment where work, play or rest often be things that are not noticed by humans. In fact, according to research conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO), the environment could be one factor that can kill a person.

In a finding its latest findings, the WHO found that as many as 12.5 million deaths worldwide per year occur due to human environmental conditions. Stroke, heart attack, diarrheal diseases and cancer became clear at the top caused by the environment.

"A healthy environment to form the healthy population," said WHO Director General, Margaret Chan, as reported by Time. "If the state does not take the role to create an environment where people live and work to be healthy, millions of others will continue to get sick and die in young," he said.

Still according to a report from the WHO, the disease associated with the environment is most prevalent in countries with low and middle incomes. The lack of resources for the application of the rules of healthy environment is one factor that allegedly occurred in these countries.
