The MotoGP Legend Asking, Rossi and Marquez Should be Reconciled
Grand Prix racing legend Giacomo Agostini, hoping for peace created between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Collectors of 15 world title it considers peace Rossi and Marquez is important to MotoGP.
Rossi has stated his relationship with Marquez will never be good again post-controversy at the Malaysian GP last season. Rossi accused Repsol Honda rider was helped Jorge Lorenzo in the race for the MotoGP world title in 2015.
"I want to see respect between Rossi and Marquez, because I think it's very important," Agostini said as quoted by the official MotoGP website.
"I do not think friendship can grow between two rivals in this sport, but it is important to respect each other, because it will lead to a great race. That's what I expect to happen."
Agostini who has eight 500cc world titles, believes MotoGP in 2016 will be more exciting than last season. Former rider Yamaha and MV Agusta claimed there would be at least five riders with a chance to become world champion.
"In recent years we've seen a number of exciting racing, especially in MotoGP last season. This year I think once again we will be back to see it, with four or five riders compete to become world champion," said Agostini.
Agostini claimed as the greatest rider in the history of motor racing Grand Prix. Notch 15 world titles makes the man from Italy became the most successful rider in the history.
Rossi and Marquez will return to compete in MotoGP in 2016, with the first series took place at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, March 20 next.
