Spalletti Flushed Totti with Praise


AS Roma coach Luciano Spalletti, hoping puzzles Francesco Totti's future can be resolved soon and
that the captain of Rome could close his career in the best way possible.

Totti, who in September will be 40 years of age, has not renewed his contract with AS Roma which will expire at the end of this season.

Although in a few weeks back had clashed with Totti, Spalletti still regard it as the best player in Italy.

"Totti is Roma's history, the best Italian player in the post-war era. I learned a lot from him and the movement has always been an example for the younger players," said Spalletti was quoted as saying by the Italian Football.

"He has given so much to football and it is very appropriate to be appreciated. I hope he closed his career in the best way, and listen to what is said to her."

Spalletti admits that he has a very difficult role, which sometimes must be backed up Totti for the sake of the team. However, according to Spalletti, does not mean he lost respect for Totti.

In one week back, Totti himself has several times met with club officials to discuss his future. The club president, James Pallotta, also had flown from Boston to Italy to solve the problem.

Spalletti hopes that his boss is more often was in Rome to deal with the club.

"He has antusiasime and also very eager to win. He is also a very positive person," said Spalletti about American businessman blooded Italian.
