Trump's Campaign in Chicago Canceled, Because It's Chaos

MASSAPEDIA NEWS  - US presidential candidate of the Republican Party, Donald Trump, was forced to cancel his campaign at the University of Illinois, Chicago, on Friday (11/3) night because of security concerns after a mass riot occurred.

As reported by Reuters, before the campaign began chaotic atmosphere as thousands of people flooded the arena suddenly divided into two camps, namely Trump supporters and haters.

With the chaotic conditions, the event was delayed half an hour until one of the staff Trump climbed onto the stage and said that the campaign was postponed for security reasons. Soon, the campaign team reported that the event will be held on an undetermined day.

After hearing the announcement, the crowd began cheering and singing. Riots broke out. Posters wrested from the hands of the supporters and the police tried to break up the mass.

One group of activists who attended a rally in Illinois University are Showing Up for Racial Justice. They coordinate minority student groups on college campuses locally through a network of e-mail communication and short messaging applications.

One of the organizers of this movement, Nathaniel Lewis, said he was surprised by their success this Trump canceled the campaign.

"I am happy. I am at peace because we came as a collective. We never thought this would happen. It shows the power of unity," said Lewis told Reuters.

Speaking to MSNBC after the cancellation of the event, Trump said that he had met with security officers when he arrived at Chicago. Although the event may still be held, he still took the "wise decision" to suspend his campaign for the sake of everyone's safety.

When asked whether the campaign will continue next Trump violent, businessmen said that the real supporters want peaceful protest. However, these efforts are often thwarted by groups that do not agree with it.

"You can not even do a campaign in major cities in this country again. Until now, we did not have any problems," said Trump.
