'Spy of the Soviet Union' Wins First The Oscar


Mark Rylance aka Rudolf Abel, the Soviet spy in the film by Steven Spielberg, Bridge of Spies, won her first Oscar in the Best Supporting Actor category. 88th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre Los Angeles, Sunday (28/2) evening local time.

He defeated his colleagues such as Christian Bale (The Big Short), Tom Hardy (The Revenant), Mark Ruffalo (Spotlight), as well as the veteran actor Sylvester Stallone (Creed).

His first victory in the event this Oscar award he dedicated to the director, Spielberg, as well as his co-star in the film Bridge of Spies, Tom Hanks.

"During this time I was idolized them, and after getting the opportunity to work with the best storytellers in the world, I feel very honored," he said when peddling feet on the Oscar stage.
