Lorenzo Wants New Contract, Before Season 2016
MotoGP world champion 2015, Jorge Lorenzo, wants to contract can be ascertained before the 2016 season begins. The Spanish rider said his contract with Yamaha expires at the end of the season 2016. Honda and Ducati also reportedly wants to recruit the man, especially with incidents towards the end of last season that allowed him to win the world title in peace.
"I want to update my new contract before this season began. But if not, I will stay calm and believe in myself, "said Lorenzo, as quoted by Eurosport.
Without getting assurance contract before the season began, he said, the personal pressures of the future will take effect during the race. However, Lorenzo wished he could be quiet waiting for it.
"If we can not reach an agreement, we will wait until Mugello (May) or even Brno (August), like the other years."
On the other manufacturer teams are interested in him, Lorenzo said he did not want to be too hasty a decision to leave. The man who has been world champion three times, said, "I knew I would go faster and hopefully with Yamaha, but I also still be quicker if I do it with another bike."
Lorenzo became the champion of last year amid controversy of his conflict, Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda compatriot, Marc Marquez. The incident at Sepang GP also sharpened the debate between Italian and Spanish rider competition in MotoGP is especially MotoGP organizer Dorna which has a base in Spain.
However, Lorenzo did not care about it.
"My destiny, remains to retire with Yamaha without changing the team and try to match the same four world title with Valentino, or even past," said Lorenzo.
