Advanced Assembly Lawsuit of Prabowo will be Tough


Mat further hearing Dispute Election Results (PHPU) filed Prabowo-Hatta camp in the Constitutional Court today, Friday (8/8), estimated to be walking a lot.

Head of Public Relations Poniman Court said the trial exposure witnesses can not necessarily be held today. "Now the schedule to hear the answer of the exposure description Respondent (KPU). If it can be finished in a new entry (exposure) witnesses from both sides," said Poniman.

In a previous trial, Wednesday (6/8), Chairman of the Constitutional Court Hamdan Zoelva limit the presence of witnesses of the Petitioners, Respondent, and the Related Parties up to as many as 50 witnesses. "Now for the first phase of each submitted 25 witnesses," said Hamdan.

Poniman estimate the proceedings today will be walking a lot. "Not to mention kepotong Jumatan, right. Yes definitely not necessarily wrong all these days," added Poniman.

Prabowo-Hatta Team filed a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court on Friday (25/7) through a letter of objection. They sued the result of the determination of the president and vice president elected in the 2014 presidential election as stipulated in the Letter of the General Election Commission (KPU) No. 535 / Kpts / Kpu / 2014 and No. 536 / Kpts / Kpu / 2014.

In the letter, the Commission set a pair of presidential candidates Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla as couples chosen by a vote of 70,633,576 votes (53.15 percent) beat Prabowo-Hatta with 62,262,844 votes (46.85 percent).

In the lawsuit, Prabowo-Hatta claimed his side memenangan results of the presidential election by a vote of 67,139,153 million votes (50.25 percent). While rival, Jokowi-JK acquire 66,435,124 million votes (49.74 percent).
